An adult single ticket costs €1,60, the trains come every 10-14 minutes and the journey time is about 4 minutes when you're actually on the train. Therefore it's best to go to the station around the corner of the hotel (Val de Europe) which is about a 3 minute walk and catch the local RER train 1 stop to Marne la Vallee. It may seem a little silly but at the same time I can see that the hotel wouldn't want to become a luggage transporter for people, especially in high season. We were planning to go and catch our TGV train to CDG airport from Marne la Vallee station and thought we would be able to take our bags in the transfer bus from the hotel to Disney but we were informed that there is a hotel rule that says this isn't allowed. If the door wasn't there then I'm sure the wall sound insulation would have been enough to keep their noise out, it's just something to be aware of and maybe if you're travelling as a couple ask for a room without an interconnecting door and whilst were on the subject of couples, ask for a room with a double bed (they seem to set the rooms up as standard with twin beds!) Finally if you're getting the TGV or Eurostar from the Disneyland station (Marne la Vallee) it's worth noting that the hotel transfer service to/from Disney will NOT take you with luggage. We informed reception of the disturbance and they made a trip to the room in question to tell them to be quiet and luckily for us they obliged and quietened down. One night the people next door were being rather loud with music, talking and the TV and it was easily enough to keep anyone awake. The only two things worth noting here are that our room had an interconnecting door to the next room, this is obviously ideal for families but because we were travelling as a couple we didn't need it and the soundproofing around the door was very poor. The journey only takes about 3 minutes in the minivan so it's really quick and if you're feeling energetic then the walk would take no longer than 20 minutes. When you're ready to come back to the hotel you just call the concierge again (he gives you his mobile number on a business card) and the driver picks you up from the Disneyland entrance. When you want to go the Disneyland parks you just tell the concierge you want to go and he will call the driver to take you in the minivan which seats 8 people in total. It's great having a little kitchenette in your room so you can pop to the big supermarket about 5 minutes walk away in the main shopping centre and deal with food in your room at minimal expense or just go to the local bakery on the morning and get some french pastries as I did. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was in a good condition and provides all the amenities you need. I've stayed in the Disney hotels and if you're willing to give up the character breakfasts and a 2 minute walk to the parks then this is the place to be. If you're going to Disneyland Paris book this hotel, full stop. The only two things worth noting here are that our room had an interconnecting door to the next. ![]()
